WW2 RAF Wings and Propellor Sweetheart Brooch

Here on offer is an excellent example of an RAF sweetheart brooch in which consists of a beautifully detailed RAF Crown and Wings emblem, set on a chrome plated propeller.

This example also has a safety chain fitted, so was clearly a valued brooch by its owner.

On the back there is maker’s mark for:

F.W.C & S Ltd

It also retains its original long pin and “C” clasp.

The condition is excellent with no plating loss, just some light age scratches.

The brooch is 2.9” (7.4cm) wide and weighs 10g.

It would make a great addition to any Vintage/WW2 jewellery collection.
