Unusual Vintage Scandinavian Puukko Knife with Black Horn and Burr Wood grip and Brown Leather Sheath

Here on offer is an unusual vintage Scandinavian Puukko Knife with black horn and burr wood grip and brown leather sheath.

I can’t see a maker’s name on the knife, so I can tell if this is a Norwegian or Finnish made piece?

This knife has a very attractive and tactile grip, made from sections of what looks like black horn and a burr wood.

The clean 3.2” fixed steel blade has been well used and shows signs of sharpening and still retains a very smooth sharp edge with no rust.

The hard wooden shell of the sheath is covered in brown leather with the usual “whale tail” end flap and stitching on the back.

At the top it retains the original leather suspension strap.
The blade measures 3.2” (8cm) and the knife itself is 7.3” (18.7cm) long.

It weighs 140g.
