Original Near Mint WW2 Royal Air Force Plastic Economy Cap Badge

Here on offer is a near mint example of an original WW2 period Royal Air Force black plastic economy cap badge.

The badge bears the “RAF” monogram in the centre surround by laurel leaf mounted with King George VI crown.

The reverse of the badge retains the original two brass folding fitting blades.

It also has the makers name in raised letters, A Stanley & Sons Walsall along with A 101-2-2 and T-1.

The badge is in near mint condition.

It measures 1.7” (4.4cm) high and weighs 4g.
