WW2 Trench Art French 25mm Flare Cartridge Brass Petrol Table Lighter

Here on offer is an impressive WW2 trench art brass petrol table lighter.

I believe the top and bottom cylindrical case sections are made from a WW2 French 25mm flare cartridge case that have been mounted on a stepped square brass base.

The top section sits over the inner section, covering the wick and flint wheel.

To gain access to the flint and to refuel it, you need to remove the inner cylindrical section which is a very tight fit, but it does come out with a little effort!

This example is in excellent condition and working order but is being sold without a flint or any fuel to comply with shipping regulations.

It makes a striking WW2 table or desk lighter, or just an impressive artillery ornament in its own right.


It measures 4.25” (10.8cm) tall with a 2.5” (6.4cm) square base.

It weighs 410g.
