WW1 Royal Artillery Gilt Brass and Enamel Regimental Crest Sweetheart Brooch

Here on offer is a beautiful example of a WW1 period Royal Artillery gilt brass and enamel regimental crest sweetheart brooch.

The brooch is in great condition and retains most of the red and blue enamel to the crest and crown. There is a tiny area of blue missing on the lower ribbon, by the letters "DU". The gilt finish now has a darkened age patina finish.

It still retains its original fixing pin and “C” clasp on the reverse.

It measures 1.5” (3.8cm) wide by 1” (2.5cm) high.

It weighs 4.3g.
