Vintage Japanese HOBO - 11 Multi Tool Survival Knife with Synthetic Stag-horn Grips, by STELLAR, c1950

Here on offer is a great example of a vintage Japanese HOBO - 11 multi tool survival knife with synthetic stag-horn grips and steel bolsters, circa 1950.

This ingenious folding multi tool knife has 11 individual tools, knife blade, scissors etc, as shown in my photos.

What is interesting about this slightly neater version, is it doesn’t have the large folding spoon or fork that is seen on most examples, which can make the knife very bulky to carry.

This is a much more practical version that will easily fit into your pocket and comes in excellent condition with stainless steel tools and synthetic crosshatched stag-horn grips. It still retains its large steel swivel loop making it easy to attached to a belt clip.

The main 2.75” knife blade is stamped on one side if the ricasso with:

STELLAR
JAPAN

The main blade measures 2.75” (7cm) and when all the tools are closed, it measures 3.6” (9.2cm) long, excluding the loop.

It weighs 162g.
