WW1 5th London Rifle Brigade Gilt Brass, Enamel and Mother of Pearl Sweetheart Brooch

Here on offer is a beautiful example of a WW1 5th London Rifle Brigade gilt brass, enamel and mother of pearl sweetheart brooch, with a King’s crown.

The brooch is in excellent condition and retains all the enamel to the metal regimental crest, that is pinned to a stunning mother of pearl disc.

The regimental crest depicts the 'Royal Arms' within a title circlet with '5th London Rifle Brigade’ and set below is their motto "Primus in Urbe" ("First in the City").

On the reverse it still retains its original fixing pin and locking “C” clasp.

It measures 1” (2.7cm) diameter and weighs 7g.
