WW2 Sweetheart Brass and Enamel Pendant “Serving King and Country” set with a Photo of a Soldier

Here on offer is a nice example of a WW2 sweetheart brass and enamel pendant “Serving King and Country” set with a colour photo of a soldier in uniform.

The circular brass pendant has a blue enamelled edge, set with the words:

SERVING KING AND COUNTRY

There is a tiny chip to the enamel at the lower edge as shown in my photos.

It has a loop at the top with some links of a brass suspension chain remaining.

The front has a small gilt metal edged, circular colour photo that is covered in a clear plastic cover. The photo appears to be a British soldier wearing his service cap.

The pendant measures 1” (2.6cm) diameter and weighs 7.8g.
