WW2 Army Catering Corps Gilt Brass and Enamel Sweetheart Brooch

Here on offer is an excellent example of a WW2 Army Catering Corps gilt brass and enamel sweetheart brooch.

The gilt brass badge depicts the crest of the Army Catering Corps, depicting a flaming cauldron in the centre surrounded in blue enamel with the words:

ARMY CATERING CORPS

At the top is a King’s Crown inset with red enamel.

On the reverse it still has its metal brooch pin and ‘C’ clasp.

The brooch measures 1.7” (4.3cm) by 1.2” (3.1cm) and weighs 8.6g.
