Mint Vintage Beretta Lockback Pocket Knife with Unusual Stained Bone Grip

Here on offer is a beautiful mint and unusual example of Beretta folding lockback knife.

This is yet another knife I have owned from new that I purchased from a gun dealer when I purchased my Beretta shotgun back in the 1980’s.

This knife has a 2.1” cutting edge spearpoint stainless steel blade, that is etched on one side with the famous Italian Beretta logo and the name:

BERETTA

On the ricasso it is stamped with a falcon’s head and the name FALCON, who I assume made the knife for Beretta to distribute.

It is hard to find out who the maker, FALCON was? However it is possible it is associated with the Falcon Famous Blades brand that is based out of Maniago Italy and owned by the Campolin family.

The grip has a polished nickel silver bolster and what I find unusual are the polished grip scales?

They have a speckled blue pattern, that under a magnifying glass could possibly be stained bone?

It could also be made of a composite material made to look like bone; it is really hard to tell?

Beretta are known for selling quality knives and a lot have exotic hardwood or other uncommon grip materials.

At the top of the back edge is the blade locking/releasing device.

The blade cutting edge measures 2.3” (6cm) and when fully opened it measures 5.9” (15cm) long.

It weighs 60g.
