Unusual Leather covered Ladies Powder Compact Depicting a Map of Germany Post WW2 with French and US Zones c1945

Here on offer is an unusual vintage leather covered ladies powder compact depicting a map of Germany, post WW2 with French and US Zones, circa 1945.

The map of Germany has numerous towns named in gold lettering, along with French and US Zones.

The lid of the compact is opened by pushing the clip on the front edge.

Inside is an undamaged round mirror and the original sifter disc. There is no powder with this compact, but you can just smell the light powder scent, so powder has been used in it before.

The base is covered in a matching mottled brown leather and the whole compact is in excellent/near mint condition.

It measures 3.9” (10cm) diameter and weighs 121g.
