Impressive Vintage Italian WHITBY Professional Throwing Knife with Leather Sheath

Here on offer is an impressive vintage Italian WHITBY Professional Throwing Knife with its original leather sheath.

I must say this is the best throwing knife I have had the privilege to own, designed for precision and balance, it delivers exceptional performance in both throwing and utility applications.

It has a thick polished stainless steel blade with a double edged diamond pointed tip that was actually made in Italy for WHITBY. The blade is in excellent condition and is lightly engraved on one side with:

PROFESSIONAL
THROWING KNIFE

And near the handle it is stamped with:

WHITBY
MADE IN ITALY

It has a shaped leather-stacked handle that is topped with a polished domed aluminium pommel.

The blade tang is secured in place with a recessed brass screw in the pommel.

It comes with its original well-made Italian brown leather sheath, that is embossed on the front with a stag. At the top it has an unusual leather flap that fits over the pommel, holding the knife in place. There is also a belt loop/slot cut into the leather, so it can be easily fitted to a belt.

The vintage styling and seamless design of this fine knife, create an unmistakable presence. The WHITBY brand has built a reputation for quality, and this knife embodies that legacy. Its solid construction and expert weight distribution make it an ideal choice for seasoned throwers and collectors alike.

The blade measures 4.9” (12.5cm) long and the chamfered cutting edges 1.4” (3.5cm) long.

The whole knife measures 8.5” (21.6cm) long and weighs 170g, with the sheath.
