Fine MOKI Stainless Steel Lock Back Pocket Knife c1999

Here on offer is a fine MOKI, stainless steel lock back pocket knife, circa 1999.

I have owned this knife from new and it is in mint condition. It is the last remaining MOKI knife from my original collection.

I purchased it back on 1999 when I stared to collect the “Knife of the Year Series”.

Even though it is not a limited edition knife, I had to buy it just because is a very sleek and practical knife.

MOKI no longer make this particular style anymore and I can’t find another example for sale at the moment.

Moki knives have been produced in Seki, Japan since 1907. Every detailed time consuming hand finish & fit is devoted to each knife, making an exceptional high standard of quality craftsmanship so called "Precision Factory Custom Knives".

Moki pay careful attention to the material of the handles and produces attractive knives one at a time, by hand. They use various metals and well-selected natural materials for knife handle inlays, such as the shell from white and black mother of pearl abalone harvested by divers from the bottom of the South Pacific.

On this example they have used top quality VG10 stainless steel with a satin finish to make the grip. There is a small swivel lanyard loop, fitted to the end.

The front of the grip has a raised oval gold coloured metal MOKI maker’s logo set into it.

It reads:

The mirror finished spear pointed stainless steel blade is also made from VG10 or possibly ATS-34 steel and is razor sharp single cutting edge.

Stamped on the ricasso on one side is the name MOKI.

The knife is in mint condition and has never been used.

A great chance to add a truly top quality MOKI knife to your collection. This knife can only increase in value.

The blade is 2” (5.1cm) long and a when fully opened the knife measures 4.75” (12.1cm), excluding the loop.

It weighs 38g.
