Here on offer is a British army issued folding, two-piece stainless steel clasp or jack knife, dated 1968.

It has a main blade, a combination can & bottle opener, along with a screwdriver tip and at the other end a lanyard loop.

On one of the grip plates it is stamped with:

STAINLESS STEEL

Broad arrow and 68

Broad arrow and 1968 and OIL THE JOINTS.

There is no maker name on the blade just the letter "J" stamped on one side of the ricasso.

A number of makers made these knives, including J.H. THUMPSON (CUTLERY) Ltd and JOESPH RODGERS, to name just two.

This knife is in mint condition with a polished finish.

The blade and tool fold into the grip, making it compact and easy to carry.

The blade cutting edge measures 2.5” (6.2cm) long and the knife when closed is 3.75” (9.5cm) long, excluding the lanyard ring.

It weighs 100g.
