Antique Gunmetal Vesta Case set with a Turquoise Cabochon in a Gold Collar along with a Brass Pocket Watch Chain

Here on offer is an antique polished gunmetal vesta case set with a turquoise cabochon in a gold collar, along with a brass pocket watch chain.

I would say this vesta case was probably made in the early 20th Century, during the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

It is made from polished gunmetal and has been set on the front edge of the hinged lid with a small circular turquoise cabochon, that appears to have a gold collar.

It still has a strong lid spring, ensuring the lid opens and closes securely and there is a stricker plate recessed on the lower edge.

On the top it has a suspension ring that has a brass pocket watch chain attached to it.

The vesta is in excellent condition, with no damage and will make a great addition to any vesta case collection.

The vesta vase measures 2” (5cm) by 1.7” (4.4cm) and the chain is 10” (25.4cm) long.

Together they weigh 33g.
