Vintage British Royal Navy Deck Knife with Leather Sheath by J. ADAMS dated 1992
Here on offer is a Vintage British Royal Navy Deck Knife with Leather Sheath by J. ADAMS of Sheffield, dated 1992.
The stainless steel single edged blade has a good cutting edge but the finish now has some dark speckling to the blade surfaces.
It is etched on one side with the maker’s name, date of manufacture and an MOD broad arrow (crow’s foot) mark.

It also displays the NATO stock reference number: 5110-99-437-5839.
The grip is made up from two dark rosewood slabs that are fixed in place by two flush brass pins. The front slab has four finger notches carved into the edge.
It comes with its original stitched black leather sheath, that has slots on the reverse for a belt and is in great condition, no splits, just some light scuff marks.
The blade measures 4.4” (11.1cm) long and the complete knife is 8.25” (21cm) long.
It weighs 100g.
