Vintage Novelty “Shotgun” shaped Penknife by SICO Portugal c1960

Here on offer is a fun vintage novelty “shotgun” shaped penknife by SICO Portugal, circa 1960.

SICO are known for making cutlery and penknives in their manufacturing plant in Portugal.

The penknife grip has been made to look like a ‘side by side’ shotgun, with two aluminium barrels fitted to the ivory coloured smooth plastic gun shaped sides.

The 2” single edged polished stainless steel blade is in mint condition and is stamped on the ricasso with:

SICO
INOX
PORTUGAL

It opens and closes perfectly and has a swivel loop at one end.

The knife is in mint unused condition and makes an ideal knife to have as a “keyring”.

The blade measures 2.” (5.2cm) and the whole knife when open measures 4.75” (12cm) excluding the loop.

It weighs 15g.
