Mint BENCHMADE 202 Leuku Bush Knife with CPM 3V Steel Blade - Santoprene Green Handle and Black Leather Sheath
Here on offer is a Mint example of the now discontinued BENCHMADE 202 Leuku bush knife, that was made in the USA.
I am told that the BENCHMADE 202 Leuku is a beast of a fixed blade knife, that’s built to last a lifetime.
It has a 5.19” CPM 3V drop point blade with a stain finish, that is hardened to 60-62 HRC.
CPM 3V is a powdered metal version of the now discontinued Vasco Die Steel. It has a tremendous amount of toughness combined with a super high wear resistance. All this combines with just enough chromium, that is one of the key elements in stain and corrosion resistance in steel.
On one side it has the BENCHMADE ‘butterfly’ logo and on the other side it is marked ‘3V’.
This full-tang fixed blade fits securely to a textured ranger green Santoprene handle which all but eliminates hot spots for a super comfortable grip, even after extended use. There is also a lanyard hole at the end of the handle.
It comes with a black leather sheath with a dangler attachment as well as a ferro rod loop. It is embossed on the front with the ‘butterfly’ logo.
This knife is now discontinued and it is hard to find mint examples, like this example.
The blade measures 5.19” (13cm) long and the whole knife measures 9.6” (24.5cm) long.
With the sheath, it weighs 230g.
