Mint BUCK 835 Selkirk Fixed Blade Knife with Custom Leather Sheath c2024

Here on offer is a mint example of a BUCK 835 Selkirk fixed blade knife with a custom hand-made leather sheath, circa 2024.

The Selkirk is a great functional tool for outdoor situations. It is named after the rugged Selkirk Mountain range beginning in the Northern Panhandle of Idaho.

My understanding is that if the blade doesn't have USA on it, then it indicates that the knife was made in China under BUCK quality controls.

It has a 4” drop point 420HC stainless steel blade with a partial ribbed top edge to provide a thumb grip.

On one side of the blade, it is etched with:

BUCK

835 (Zig Zag)

This symbol is the date mark indicating the year of manufacture is 2024.

The grip is made of brown and black CNC contoured Micarta. This is a composite material made from linen and plastic, which is rock-solid, stable and ideal for outdoor use.

It has a steel bolster and grooved pommel top.

The previous owner has gone to great lengths to make a custom hand stitched leather sheath with a belt loop. The knife fits very snuggly inside.

The knife and sheath are in mint unused condition.

The blade measures 4” (10.2cm) long and the whole knife measures 8.25” (21cm) long.

With the sheath, it weighs 185g.
