Handmade Hunting Knife with 5” Stainless Steel Fixed Blade, Leather and Bone Grip and Custom made Leather Sheath

Here on offer is a handmade hunting knife with 5” polished stainless steel fixed blade a leather and bone grip and a custom made leather sheath.

The thick blade may have been made from an old file, given its width and thickness and most of all the quality of the steel. It is in excellent condition, no rust or pitting and it holds a very sharp cutting edge. It still shows some of the handmade indentations and grinding marks to the finish.

The grip is made up of tapering leather discs, two large sections of bone with thin red spacers. The finger guard and pommel are made from brass and it looks to have a full length tang.

It comes with a fine handmade stitched leather sheath with belt loop, that is embossed on the front with a scallop shell pattern.

The knife has a 5” (12.2cm) long blade and the whole knife measures 9.2” (23.2cm).

Including the sheath, it weighs 218g.
