Vintage MIB “Scotch” Duck Caller Model 1401 by The Scotch Game Call Company New York c1960

Here on offer is a mint in box example of a vintage “Scotch” Duck Caller, model no. 1401 by The Scotch Game Call Company, of 60 Main St. Oakfield, New York, circa 1960.

This “Scotch” Duck Call, Model 1401 is a highly recognisable vintage hunting accessory.

Designed as a "shaker" or "squeaker" call, it eliminates the need for manual blowing. Instead, hunters grip and squeeze the rubber bladder to emit an authentic feed call.

This mint example has never been used and comes with its instruction leaflets and original cardboard box with the advertising image on the top and no damage.

The black rubber squeaker itself is in perfect condition, still with soft rubber and it produces a perfect duck call!

It is great fun to use and attracts a lot of attention!

The Scotch Game Call Company is no longer in business and these models are rare to find in such mint condition.

The cardboard box measures 13.25” (33.6cm) by 2.2” (5.5cm) by 2” (5.2cm) and the rubber squeaker is 12” (30,5cm) long when not in use.

With the box it weighs 255g.
