Vintage Thin Black Swiss Victorinox Double Bladed Watch Case Opener Knife – Branded LOCKHART

Here on offer is a vintage thin black Swiss Victorinox double bladed watch case opener knife, branded with the name “LOCKHART”.

This is an unusual type of a Swiss Victorinox knife that I believe was made as a watch case opener.

It has dual ultra flat, rigid stainless steel blades engineered to slip into tiny case back gaps, without bending.

The grip scales seem to be made from black painted aluminium, that on one side depict:

VICTORINOX for quality

and on the other side it depicts the image of a saucepan with the name LOCKHART.

I am assuming this was distributed a corporate promotional item. Lockhart Catering Equipment is a major UK supplier of commercial kitchenware, tableware, and catering appliances.

This example is in excellent condition with mint blades but just some loss of paint /rubbing to one corner edge, as shown in my photos.

The larger blade measures 2.5” (6.3cm) long and the smaller one is 1.5” (3.7cm).

It weighs 21g.
