Here on offer is a large (50mm) antique silver plated bronze medallion commemorating the death of Friedrich von Schiller in 1805.

I believe it was actually made by Allen & Moore in 1850.

On the obverse it depicts the bust of Schiller bare headed, with the words:

FREDk. VON SCHILLER.

Under his bust in tiny letters, it reads:
