The whole thing has been cast in two pieces, in aluminium that now has a bright and slightly oxidised finish in some areas. These types of pieces were made as “novelty” but useful items back in the 1930’s.

This great scale model has been well made from sections of what seems to be a sycamore type wood, which makes it very solid and quite heavy.
