A Vintage Silver-Plated Baby Rattle & Whistle in form of The Nursery Rhyme “Cat and The Fiddle”

Here on offer is a vintage silver-plated ( I think) baby rattle and whistle, depicting the nursery rhyme “Cat and the Fiddle”.

The main body is a cat playing a fiddle that it is attached to an ebonised wooden handle, complete with a metal suspension loop at the end.

Here on offer is great example of a now inert, original WW2 No.36 Type II British 'Rifle' Mills grenade made by BBC and now converted to a table lighter.

The front of the main body of the grenade has the letters BBC stamped on it (with a rivet covering the central “B”), which indicates the maker of the body was the British Bath Co, of Greenford, London.
