Scarce Gilt and Enamel 1902 Royal Coronation Brooch - from Queen Alexandra

Here on offer is a scarce antique gilt brass and enamel 1902 Royal Coronation brooch, that appears to have been a gift/award from Queen Alexandra.

Edward VII coronation, with his wife Alexandra of Denmark, was held on 9th August 1902.

Here on offer is an unusual and what I now believe is an original WW2 German felt dagger bag for a WKC Officers dagger.

I have had this dagger bag for over 40 years, when it came to me, folded in half, as part of a WW2 veteran’s collection.

Original German Day Badge - 1st May 1936

Here on offer is an original German Day Badge that celebrated “Tag der Arbeit” (labour day) on 1st May 1936.

The badge is made out of a round die struck aluminium-alloy disc.

The obverse depicts an old plough, riveting hammer and broad sword along with a German national eagle and reads “1. Mai 1936” along with a tiny and hard to see “RK” at the bottom left.

Here on offer is an unusual WW1 hallmarked silver and enamel, Relief Fund Sports medal, by C. Usher, Leicester, England, 1914.

It was awarded to an F. C. RUSH of the Southend Harriers, for a 1 mile open handicap race at Twickenham, in 1914.

Here on offer is a finely detailed example of a chrome plated RAF emblem sweetheart bar brooch, circa 1940.

The bright plated brooch has a finely detailed RAF emblem, with spread feathered wings along with the Kings Crown and “RAF” letters.

There is no maker’s mark that I can see.

Here on offer is a rare example of a WW1 period 48th Canadian Highlanders horse hair and leather sporran named to Company Quartermaster Sergeant Major (CQMS), Frank James Stinson, service no. 192159.

All I know is that CQMS Frank James Stinson was from Toronto and served in WW1 from 28th August 1917.
