Here on offer is a superb example of an original WW2 “Trench Art” sweetheart brooch which is in the form of a RAF Spitfire fighter aircraft made from copper, mounted on a long bar brooch.

It is thought that these brooches where true “WW2 Trench Art” possibly made from copper coins by German POW’s retained in the UK and sold to guards for chocolate and cigarettes.

Aluminium Tray Depicting Edward VIII ‘Our Prince of Sports’ Given as a Souvenir of the K.C.P.S Dinner in 1922 – Made by R.W. Coan London

Here on offer is a rare sand cast aluminium tray depicting the then Prince of Wales, Edward VIII, in his Royal Navy uniform, smoking a cigarette. The image of the Prince of Wales is likely taken from a photograph of him signing a visitor’s book during a trip to Canada in 1919, as shown in my last photo.
