This large 33” long spear thrower is I believe, hand carved from a beautiful piece of mulga wood.

It is a 'male' spear thrower, meaning it has a wooden peg at one end that is held in place with kangaroo sinew. This is insert into a conical depression in the bottom of the hunting spears.

Here on offer is a very unusual vintage RAF logo picture made from multi-coloured foil, circa 1950.

In all my years of collecting I have not seen a picture like this!

It depicts the RAF logo with Queen’s crown and RAF wings along with the RAF motto:

WW1 Copper Submarine Ashtray Commemorating German U-Boat U-155 DEUTSCHLAND

Here on offer is a scarce circular copper ash tray that depicts an embossed stylised image of WW1 German U-Boat, U-155 also known as DEUTSCHLAND.

U-155 was broken up by Robert Smith & Sons, Birkenhead, at Rock Ferry in 1922 and some of the copper was made into souvenirs, such as this ashtray, that were sold to help support War Aid charities.

This beautiful box seems to have been made from rosewood and has been inlaid, mainly on the lid, with some unique and ornate designs, using various coloured African and fruit woods. It has a image of a box inlaid on the front edge.
