This is the first example I have seen that was actually made in a POW camp in England, normally they where made POW’s in North Africa.
These cases were traded for food and cigarettes by the POW’s, with the guards and locals.

Here on offer is a near mint vintage gold plated single bladed penknife keyring, by Richards of Sheffield, circa 1960.
The knife handle has been machine turned on both sides and gold plated and retains a bright finish.

Here on offer is a WW2 US Army Quartermasters bone letter opener with brass badge, circa1940
This interesting letter opener has been made from a fine piece of animal bone that has been fitted with a brass WW2 US Army Quartermasters badge at the top.
The bone now has a really smooth finish and shows some dark age staining which gives it a pleasant marbled effect.

Here on offer is an original WW2 Army Trench Whistle, by J Hudson & Co of Birmingham, still with its long metal ‘expanding’ chain lanyard.
The nickel silver metal whistle is in excellent undamaged and full working condition.

Here on offer is a really unusual and possibly unique, WW2 lady’s "sweetheart" black patent handbag, fitted with a WW2 Royal Tank Regiment cap badge.
The handbag has clearly been used and loved and now the black patent has a crazed finish and is rubbed/missing on the corners.
