WW1 Royal Flying Corps (RFC) Silver-Plated Thimble Pattern Topped Bamboo Swagger Stick

Here on offer is a fine example of a WW1 Royal Flying Corps (RFC) silver-plated thimble pattern topped bamboo swagger stick.

The excellent silver-plated ‘thimble’ top has the crowned RFC pilots wings embossed into it and just a couple of minor indentations.

The long cane section is in excellent condition but now has a gentle curve to it, as shown in my photos.

Here on offer is an antique Victorian British Metropolitan Police lignum vitae truncheon, stamped with ‘M Crown P’, circa 1888.

My understanding is the Metropolitan Police ‘M P’ stamp with a ‘Crown’ in between, only appeared after 1887. Earlier versions were stamped with an ‘M P’ below a ‘Crown’.

Here on offer are two vintage RAF Officer's embroidered blazer badges, with the RAF crowned eagle emblem and the motto: PER ARDUA AD ASTRA.

Both badges display Queens Crown and are therefore post WW2 examples.
