French Model 1842 Yataghan Sword Bayonet -German Blade Marked F. H for Fredrich Horster with Scabbard
Here on offer is what I believe to be a 1st pattern French Model 1842 yataghan sword bayonet, with a German blade marked “F. H” for Fredrich Horster and comes with its original scabbard.
This bayonet is brass-hilted with a spring steel latching arrangement on the right side. This example has the earlier “nipple” release button that is still in working order.

Hear on offer is an unusual WW2 “trench art” presentation bottle holder, that looks like a “coal scuttle”, made from 4” Naval artillery shells.

Hear on offer is a great example of an inert WW1 British VSM 37mm 1 pounder “Pom Pom” shell.
The shell is stamped VSM (Vickers, Sons & Maxim) on the projectile section. There is also the letter “B” stamped on the top brass screw in plug.
